Grand Theft Auto VI has a soundtrack release date. Rockstar Games announced on October 29 that Grand Theft Auto VI: Original Score by Justice arrives on December 11, 2026 through Because Music, Ed Banger Records and Rockstar Games. Pre-orders are open now.
The French duo already gave the game its biggest musical moment so far. Their song “Flower in a Hurricane” features Tame Impala, SZA and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, and it plays in the GTA 6 launch trailer.
What is on the GTA 6 original score
- 30 tracks plus bonus material: the album has 30 tracks, and every format adds a number of digital bonus tracks. Together they make a suite of about three hours of music from the game.
- A new single out now: “Pusher” features Gesaffelstein. It is the first time Justice have worked with him, and the track previews the game’s instrumental score.
- “Flower in a Hurricane”: the trailer song is on the album too.
Formats
- Digital and streaming
- Double CD in a digisleeve with a UV gloss finish
- Triple black vinyl in a gatefold sleeve with a UV gloss finish
- Triple crystal clear vinyl, a limited edition, also in a gatefold sleeve
Physical pre-orders are open on the official Justice store.
A score that reacts to the game
Justice are Gaspard Augé and Xavier de Rosnay, and they have won Grammy Awards. The announcement calls the score adaptive, “dynamically tuned to game events”, so it shifts with what is happening as you play. That makes this album different from a playlist of licensed songs.
“The scope of the game is so large geographically and thematically that it was clear from the beginning the music would also have to be very broad in terms of emotions, genres, and textures,” de Rosnay said. “We were given the freedom to explore as many things as we needed to, musically speaking.”
“Flower in a Hurricane” has already done well on its own. It became Justice’s first Billboard Hot 100 entry as a lead artist, reaching No. 62, and debuted at No. 34 on US Alternative radio.
Not the same as GTA VI: The Album
Do not mix this up with GTA VI: The Album, a separate 34-track collection from Atlantic Records that comes out with the game on November 19. The Justice score is the music written for the game itself, and it arrives about three weeks after launch.
GTA 6 is out November 19 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. If you are getting ready, see our guides to the GTA 6 radio stations, the PS5 download size and the official GTA 6 merch store.
