Quick answer: The Overwatch x Stellar Blade collaboration, called EVE Protocol, starts on November 3, 2026 (Pacific time), which is November 4 in Korea and Japan. Blizzard has now shown concept art for Widowmaker as Eve, Freja in a Raven style suit and Soldier: 76 as Adam. Prices and the exact start time have not been announced. Current as of the November 2 concept art reveal.
Overwatch’s next crossover is almost here. Blizzard and SHIFT UP’s Overwatch x EVE Protocol collaboration, which dresses Overwatch heroes in the style of Stellar Blade, begins on Tuesday, November 3. Today, the official Japanese Overwatch account started posting the first detailed concept art for the skins, one hero at a time.
When does the Overwatch x Stellar Blade collab start?
Overwatch announced on October 25 that the collab begins on November 3, and the official Stellar Blade account listed it as November 3 PST and November 4 KST. Neither account has given a start time yet, so we will add it here as soon as Blizzard posts it.
Which heroes get Stellar Blade skins?
Three heroes now have official concept art, all posted on November 2:
- Widowmaker as Eve: Eve’s green and white bodysuit, her long ponytail and a reworked Widow’s Kiss rifle with a blade style finish.
- Freja: a black and white suit with a long feathered cape that matches Raven, plus a new crossbow design.
- Soldier: 76 as Adam: the sheet is labeled “Soldier 76 Adam” and shows a dark tactical outfit with gold armor plates and a matching Heavy Pulse Rifle.
The October key art shows five heroes in total. Reports from Inven Global and others identify the other two as D.Va in a Lily look and Vendetta as Tachy. Blizzard has not posted their concept art yet, but the Japanese account says more heroes are coming “in sequence” starting today, so expect those reveals before launch.
How much will the skins cost?
Blizzard has not announced prices, bundles or any free event rewards. Past Overwatch crossovers have sold their skins through the in game shop, so a paid bundle is the safe bet, but we will update this story when the shop goes live.
Why the timing matters
The collab lands two days before Stellar Blade Complete Edition comes to Nintendo Switch 2 on November 5 PST, so SHIFT UP is putting Eve in front of a huge new audience the same week. It is also Stellar Blade’s second big crossover this season after its NIKKE tie in, which we covered in our NIKKE 4th anniversary update story.
What to do before November 3
If you want a skin on day one, check your Overwatch Coin balance now and keep an eye on the official Overwatch accounts on Tuesday.
