Quick answer: Fortnite Crew changes on December 5, 2026. Monthly V-Bucks start at 1,000 and climb to 1,600 after 12 continuous months. Crew Pack outfits and the OG Pass end that day. Price stays $11.99, and the Battle Pass, Music Pass, LEGO Pass and Rocket Pass Premium stay included. Current as of November 5, 2026.
Epic Games is reworking Fortnite Crew on December 5, 2026. Subscribers keep the same $11.99 USD price and the big seasonal passes, but monthly V-Bucks go up with how long you stay subscribed, Crew Pack outfits stop after December, and the OG Pass wraps with Chapter 1: OG Season X. This guide walks through every confirmed change from Epic’s announcement, plus what current and returning members need to do.
Fortnite Crew V-Bucks tiers starting December 5
Monthly V-Bucks for Crew members now start at 1,000 (up from the previous 800 allotment, per The Verge) and rise with continuous subscription length, topping out at 1,600 at 12 months. Epic and matching reports use this duration table:
- 1 to 2 months: 1,000 V-Bucks per month
- 3 to 5 months: 1,200 V-Bucks per month
- 6 to 11 months: 1,400 V-Bucks per month (Epic’s FAQ example calls a continuous 7-month run Silver)
- 12+ months: 1,600 V-Bucks per month
Your starting band on December 5 depends on consecutive months subscribed in the past 12 months. Epic’s FAQ example: subscribe June 15 and stay continuous, and on your December 15 billing date you hit 7 months and land in the Silver band. Check the in-game Crew tab on December 5 for your exact start.
What happens if you resubscribe
Previously subscribed and coming back? Resubscribe between December 6 and December 31, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET, and your starting tier reflects your most recent continuous subscription period over the past 12 months. Existing subscribers do not need to do anything to keep the subscription when the changes roll out.
Crew Pack outfits end after December
Monthly Crew Pack outfits are ending. December’s pack is the final one. Epic will grant all Legacy Styles for Crew Packs (Outfits, Pickaxes and Back Blings) you already own in December, whether or not you are currently subscribed. The final December Crew Pack itself is granted to subscribers throughout all of December.
OG Pass ends December 5, returns late 2027
The OG Pass ends on December 5 with what Epic calls a dramatic conclusion at the end of Chapter 1: OG Season X. The Next Era of Fortnite OG is scheduled for late 2027.
XP boosts for you and your squad
- Crew members earn +20% Fortnite XP.
- Squad members without Crew earn +10% XP while playing with you.
- Crew XP boosts do not stack with each other, and neither do party boosts. Non-Crew party members get one 10% boost no matter how many Crew members are in the party.
What stays the same
- Price remains $11.99 USD.
- Still included: Fortnite Battle Pass, Music Pass, LEGO Pass and Rocket Pass Premium.
Pass lineup reminder from Epic for the rest of this year:
- November 12: Music Mini-Pass
- December 5: LEGO Mini-Pass
- December 5: Fortnite Battle Pass
Epic says future Music and LEGO passes return to regular size and come out more often after those mini-passes.
