Quick answer: Stellar Blade Complete Edition launches today, Nov 5, 2026, on Nintendo Switch 2. It unlocks worldwide at the same moment: 9 AM CT (7 AM PT, 10 AM ET, 3 PM GMT), which is midnight Nov 6 in Korea and Japan. It costs $59.99 digital or physical, the cartridge holds the full game, and four Bayonetta outfits for EVE go free on Switch 2, PS5 and PC at the same time. Current as of Nov 5, 2026.
SHIFT UP’s action game hits Nintendo’s new console this morning, and two details make it stand out from a lot of Switch 2 ports. The physical version is not a game-key card, and the Bayonetta collaboration is not locked to the new platform. Here is what you get and when you can play.
Stellar Blade Switch 2 unlock time
SHIFT UP set a single simultaneous release for every region rather than a midnight rollout by time zone. In the US that means a morning launch on Thursday:
- Pacific: 7 AM PT
- Central: 9 AM CT
- Eastern: 10 AM ET
- UK: 3 PM GMT
- Korea and Japan: midnight, Friday Nov 6
If you never tried it, the free Switch 2 demo has been on the eShop since September.
The full game is on the cartridge
SHIFT UP confirmed the boxed copy “ships with the entire game data on the cartridge,” with no game-key card and no extra download required to play. Pop it in and it runs, which matters for collectors, resale and anyone short on storage. A limited SteelBook with new key art is sold through participating retailers and Panax in small quantities.
Price and what the Complete Edition includes
It costs $59.99, £54.99 or €59.99 in either format. The Complete Edition bundles everything released so far on PS5 and PC:
- The NieR:Automata and GODDESS OF VICTORY: NIKKE collaboration DLC
- Stargazer outfit set for EVE, Adam and Lily
- Half-Rim Glasses, Quadruple Rectangle Earring and the Planet Diving Suit (Captain) for EVE
- Stargazer and Fluffy Bear drone packs
- 2,000 SP EXP and 5,000 Gold
Anyone who preordered also gets the Planet Diving Suit (White Edition), Classic Round Glasses and Ear Armor Earrings for EVE.
Four free Bayonetta outfits on every platform
The Bayonetta Nano Suit collaboration adds four couture outfits for EVE: Bayonetta, Nun, Jeanne and Black Tresses, the last of which was named alongside the Tokyo Game Show trailer, per Gematsu. They are free on Switch 2, PS5 and PC from the same 9 AM CT unlock, so PS5 and PC players do not need to buy anything new. EVE is also part of the Overwatch collaboration we covered this week, and our look at the Complete Edition collectibles trailer covers the physical extras.
How the Switch 2 version reviews
Early scores are mixed to strong. Nintendo Life gave it 7/10, praising combat and bosses but noting that 60fps frame generation adds input lag (you can switch it off). Noisy Pixel went higher with 9/10, per Nintendo Life’s review roundup. The game is rated M by the ESRB and PEGI 18.
