Quick answer: Jacksepticeye is the newest Elusive Target in HITMAN World of Assassination. The mission, called The Host, went live Thursday, October 29, and it is free to play until November 25, 2026, both for owners of the game and for new players through the Free Demo, according to IO Interactive.
Seán McLoughlin, the Irish YouTuber known as Jacksepticeye, provides both the likeness and the voice for the target. It is a brand new character in a brand new story, not a cameo as himself.
Who Agent 47 is hunting
McLoughlin plays Finn Colton, a wealthy and controversial content creator who goes by Finnvictus online. IO Interactive describes him as a former children’s TV star known for exploitative contracts that push his staff to their limits. 47’s client is a relative of a creator who vanished after signing with the Finnvictus team, and the evidence points to Colton.
Colton lives in a remote content complex in Hawke’s Bay, New Zealand, where cameras livestream his life around the clock. Your way in is a guest spot on the Finn and Friends podcast, posing as “thought leader” Tobias Rieper. The twist is obvious and very on brand: in a mission built around a man who is always on camera, 47 has to stay out of frame.
“Finn is loud, paranoid, and completely obsessed with content, and playing him was an absolute blast,” McLoughlin said in IOI’s announcement. “I can’t wait to see all the creative ways you take him down, so make sure you’re recording it!”
What is free and what costs money
The Elusive Target itself is free through November 25. IOI’s roadmap lists The Internet Legend Fit as the reward for completing it. The Host Pack sells for $7.99, €7.99 or £6.99 and gives you permanent access to The Collab (an Elusive Target Arcade contract) and The Host Assignment (a Special Assignment with five challenges starring Finn Colton), plus the Thought Leader Suit, the Persona “Suit”, the Demon Dakota 12G, the DXTR PlayFactory Controller, a Creator Soundboard and a Kwineeny collectible. On Switch and Switch 2, the pack arrives November 10.
The rest of the Season of The Host
The Host kicks off a full season. Per IOI’s roadmap:
- The Pharmacist returns in Paris, October 30 to November 8
- The Warlord returns in Bangkok, November 6 to 15
- The Entertainer returns in Marrakesh, November 13 to 22
- A new “Like Mist” challenge unlocks the Vampire Magician Suit
- Playing The Host with an IOI account unlocks the Hijacker Duck
- A Twitch Drop, the Royal Purple Banana, runs through November 9
Why this one matters
Elusive Targets are limited time by design, which makes them a natural hook for lapsed players. Putting one of YouTube’s biggest gaming creators in the crosshairs, and making it free in the demo, is IOI’s clearest play yet to pull his audience into Hitman. It also fits McLoughlin’s recent run of voice work in games after his role in Dispatch.
The mission runs on PS5, PS4, PS VR2, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, ROG Xbox Ally, PC, PC VR, Switch, Switch 2, iPhone, iPad and Apple silicon Macs. Switch players need the full game.
