The studio thanked fans for the reaction since the June reveal and said it does not “take for granted the trust placed in the studio to make an extraordinary experience.” It then confirmed the decision “to delay God of War Laufey’s release to May 20th, 2027,” adding that the team will spend the time “putting in the finishing touches and pushing the game to its fullest potential.” It closed by promising more updates soon.
