Quick answer: The PlayStation Store Black Friday sale starts Wednesday, November 4, 2026, at midnight PT (2 a.m. CT, 3 a.m. ET) and runs through Monday, November 30. Sony promises up to 75% off thousands of PS5, PS4 and PS VR2 games, expansions and DLC. The deals refresh on November 16, some end early on November 20, and there are no PS5 console or accessory discounts announced. Current as of November 3, 2026.

Sony is starting its Black Friday sale weeks before Black Friday itself. In a PlayStation Blog post on November 3, Sony confirmed that PlayStation Store’s Black Friday Deals go live tomorrow, November 4, with discounts of up to 75% on thousands of games and add-ons. Black Friday is not until November 27, so this is a month-long sale rather than a one-weekend event.

PlayStation Black Friday sale 2026 dates and times

  • Starts: Wednesday, November 4 at 12 a.m. PT, which is 2 a.m. CT and 3 a.m. ET. Sony lists the same local midnight start for GMT and JST regions.
  • Refresh: Monday, November 16 at 12 a.m. PT (2 a.m. CT), when some deals are swapped for new offers.
  • Early exits: certain discounts end on November 20 at 11:59 p.m. PT (1:59 a.m. CT on November 21).
  • Ends: Monday, November 30 at 11:59 p.m. PT, which is 1:59 a.m. CT on December 1.

Games confirmed for the PlayStation Black Friday sale

Sony has not revealed prices yet. Discounts appear on PlayStation Store when the sale goes live, and percentages can differ by region. These are the games named in Sony’s preview so far, as listed by VGC:

  • Marvel’s Wolverine
  • Astro Bot
  • Saros
  • 007 First Light
  • Pragmata
  • The Blood of Dawnwalker
  • Silent Hill: Townfall
  • NBA 2K27
  • UFC 6
  • Valheim
  • Mortal Shell 2
  • Echoes of Aincrad
  • Beast of Reincarnation
  • Diablo 4: Lord of Hatred
  • The Sinking City 2
  • Rayman: 30th Anniversary Edition

Several of those are big 2026 releases. Marvel’s Wolverine launched in September and currently lists at $69.99, while Astro Bot lists at $59.99 on PlayStation’s US site. Silent Hill: Townfall only arrived in September, so a discount this soon would be notable.

No PS5 console deals yet

The sale is software only for now. Sony’s post covers games, expansions and DLC, and there is no word on PS5 hardware, DualSense controllers or PS VR2 headset discounts. Sony could still announce more closer to November 27, but with console prices going up this year, a hardware deal is far from guaranteed.

Our take: when to buy

Because the sale refreshes on November 16 and some offers end on November 20, the best plan is to check your wishlist on day one and buy anything you already want at a good price. If a game you are watching is not discounted in the first wave, wait for the November 16 refresh before paying full price. Turn on wishlist notifications in the PlayStation App so you see price drops without checking the store every day.
